Stylo G is the stage moniker for Jason McDermott, a hit-making Jamaican dancehall recording artist. Born on 15 September 1985 in the old capital of Jamaica – Spanish Town, he migrated to the UK at the tender age of 15. It didn’t take him long to find his true calling – music, and in very short order became known for his three hit singles “My Yout“, “Call Mi a Leader” and “Soundbwoy”. “Soundbwoy” peaked at number 18 on the UK Singles Chart. He also featured on the hit song “Come Over” by the British electronic group Clean Bandit. He also got famous for his collaboration with Divine for the song “Mirchi”.
