So I Married An Axe Murderer at The Glee

Whoaa man! It’s hard to believe that 30 years has passed since the release of Mike Myers‘ cult classic, So I Married An Axe Murderer, about Charlie, a commitment-phobe beat poet who finally believes he has found the love of his life with butcher, Harriet (Nancy Travis). Although the course of true love never did run smooth especially when Charlie starts to suspect that Harriet is the notorious Mrs. X who murders her husbands on their honeymoon.

Featuring some killer cameos by late greats, Charles Grodin and Phil Hartman as well as Anthony LaPagila and Alan Arkin as a hilarious cop double act, Mike Myers even pulls double duty as a gallus Scottish dad in what is truly his finest and ONLY Scottish persona we should acknowledge.

So get your heid moving over to the Glee Club for an evening of poetry, order a large cappuccino to enjoy with the film and there might even be some bagpipe music. HELLO!
