Maureen is frank, fast, feisty, sharp and engaging – honest humour with attitude! She works as a stand up comedian and compere at major clubs all around the UK including The Comedy Store, Up the Creek and Komedia to name but a few. She was a finalist in 2003 British Comedian of the Year where she was placed third and was one of the comics performing at the Best of British showcase at the Adelaide Fringe in 2024. Maureen has also gigged abroad and has even gigged in German and French. She is also the only comedian on the circuit who performs regularly at mainstream, urban, Asian and gay comedy nights.
