Lee is an Aston Villa legend. He has played for the Villa 251 times and has represented his country. Since retiring from his playing days, you would have seen Lee forge a career in the media and often pops up as a pundit on Sky Sports and a regular contributor to Sky Sports news. His opinions are both valued and honest. No punches are pulled, particularly when talking about his beloved Villa. In this live performance he will be forthcoming, candid and informed when he talks openly about his career and his opinions on today’s ever moving game of football in the interview with Maff Brown…

Interviewing him will be the comedian Maff Brown. Maff has spent the last 12 years as a professional comedian before he left the world of professional football. You would have seen him on BBC2, ITV, Comedy Central and Channel 4. He is also a regular writer on Mock the Week and has written for Vic and Bob. He was recommended by GQ magazine as the top ten acts to see at the Edinburgh festival, twice. He is an award nominated comedian and forever in demand as a live stand up and headlines the comedy club’s all over the country. You would have also see him playing the Glee’s.

Before becoming a comedian Maff spent 12 years in professional football. A very brief playing career with Brentford FC was cut short due to broken ankle, so he turned his talents to coaching. He has the UEFA A Coaching licence. He was part of Gerard Houllier’s backroom staff at Liverpool FC as the match analyst and went onto manage in Singapore’s S-League.

This will be a truly unique event and an absolute must for any football fan.
