About Guz…
Guz Khan is an Actor, Writer and Stand-up Comedian from the notoriously gangster city that is Coventry. He is the creator & star of Man Like Mobeen, and one of the Midlands’ greatest acts to come up through the circuit in recent years alongside peers such as Joe Lycett.
He first came to prominence through his comedic online videos which were performed in the guise of various characters that he created. He coined the stage name Guzzy Bear and addressed many social issues through this vessel. The popularity of this has led to a social media following of over 30 thousand people in less than 6 months and millions of views and shares from a very diverse demographic.
Guz made his stand-up comedy debut opening for the internationally renowned Aamer Rahman, on his sell out tour The Truth Hurts in 2014, the quality of his debut performance warranted attention from the BBC at this point.
He continued to work on solo projects and juggle his full-time career as a qualified secondary school teacher, also writing and appearing in several comedy adverts commissioned by various charities in the UK.
“As a stand-up Khan is very much a star. Make no mistake.”
Bruce Dessau, The Evening Standard
