About Deirdre…
Deirdre started out in 1996 and soon found herself in the finals of that year’s BBC New Comedy Awards. She’s since gone on to become an established stand-up comedian in Ireland and around the world playing festivals as far as Australia and Hong Kong.
As well as touring comedy festivals around the world Deirdre has starred in the acclaimed indie flick Intermission starring Cillian Murphy and most recently starred as Debra Moone, one of the lead characters in Sky One’s Moone Boy with Chris O’Dowd.
