Finalist of Britain’s Got Talent and star of BBC Radio 4’s Citizen of Nowhere Daliso Chaponda is finally back out of the house and on a stage with a new show of the slickest, sharpest look at life. It’s fair to say that neither 2020 nor 2021 have been going to plan for Daliso… but he’s been performing online daily to millions of viewers, and this is your first chance to see what this master of satire has been cooking up!
Ticketholders for Apocalypse Not Now can also attend the Daliso Chaponda Filming Special, and vice-versa. Both on 4th May 2022 at The Glee Club Birmingham.

About Daliso…
With over 300 million views of his stand up online, Daliso shot to fame on Britain’s Got Talent making it to the final of the 2017 series and establishing himself a firm favourite with the judges and the British public.
Since then, Daliso has gone on to become a TV and Radio regular. Appearances include The Royal Variety Performance, Good Evening Britain and Britain’s Got Talent Champions 2019 (ITV), The Complaints Department and Rhod Gilbert’s Growing Pains (Comedy Central), Unforgivable (Dave), The News Quiz, Just A Minute and The Now Show (BBC Radio 4). Daliso is also a regular guest on QI and The Apprentice: You’re Fired (BBC2).
Daliso is also the writer, creator, and host of his Rose d’Or nominated BBC Radio 4 show Citizen of Nowhere. The third series aired in October 2021 and he also hosted a brand new show The Exploding Library for BBC Radio 4 in November 2021.
He has performed around the world and at the Edinburgh, Melbourne, Singapore, and Cape Town comedy festivals. He has also toured the UK twice to sell-out audiences and rave reviews.
In December 2021, Daliso made his pantomime debut as the principal comedian in Aladdin at the Redhill Theatre in Surrey, receiving rave reviews.
In addition to stand up, Daliso is also a prolific fiction writer. He has published science fiction, murder mysteries and fantasy fiction in numerous magazines, and anthologies. He is currently working on his new novel and a children’s book.
