Bruce Devlin is widely regarded as one of the best comperes in the business today (“super slick compere” – Scotsman, “Devlin’s super charged introductions could make recently-deceased genius Richard Pryor look like a slow starter” – Edinburgh Evening News ).

A resident compere at The Stand Comedy Clubs in both Edinburgh and Glasgow (also Newcastle from October 2011) and a firm favourite at The Highlight Comedy Club’s and also now with the Glee & Jongluers chains throughout the UK. More recently Bruce has been performing at London’s Backyard Comedy Club where he will be performing as a resident host with ‘Bruce Devlin’s Sunday Roast’. (“Chat show King – ****” – The Herald).

Bruce is a favourite at The Glasgow International Comedy Festival and The Edinburgh Fringe, which he is considered a must see.

Bruce can be seen regularly on STV where he delights the people of Scotland with his role as roving reporter, much to the pleasure and enjoyment of the public both on the streets and watching at home, recently having interviewed the cast of ITV 1’s Coronation Street and the show’s creator Tony Warren as part of the show’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

A familiar voice on radio, Bruce is a frequent contributor to both BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio Five Live. A versatile and adaptable comic Bruce is a regular and favourite also within children’s comedy. A widely celebrated stand up and an accomplished interviewer “Scotland’s sharpest interviewer” (The Guardian) is a must see for everyone.
