Dave Durkan is a comedian, actor, stand-up and creator, best known for his viral sketches and engaging online presence. He is one half of the popular comedy duo Durk & Ski, with a combined following of nearly a quarter of a million across social media platforms and over 175 million views. Durk & Ski’s comedy sketches and characters have earned them a loyal audience, and their sold-out UK tour in 2023 saw performances at iconic venues such as Brighton Komedia, London’s 21Soho, Birmingham Glee Club, and Edinburgh’s Monkey Barrel. In 2024, Dave also performed a two-week solo run at Edinburgh Fringe with Durkin’ 9 to 5 (WIP), part sketch, part character, part video extravaganza.

Dave’s comedy cuts through with an array of popular one-off sketches, particularly his viral takedowns of Daytime TV and his hilarious soap opera spoofs. His knack for a certain flavour of comedy has made his supermarket, small talk sketches fan favourites. Beyond social media, Dave’s acting credits include appearances in BBC comedy sketches.

In January 2024, Dave was named by The Daily Telegraph as one of their “5 Young Sketch Comedians to Watch,” with the paper calling him “very funny and genuinely gripping.”
