Sally Bee is a motivational speaker in health and wellbeing, a healthy cook for ITV and author of six bestselling cookbooks. Sally is also a passionate ambassador for Heart Research UK, following her own personal experience living with a rare heart condition.
In 2014, At the age of 36, Sally survived her first heart attack. She went on to have 2 further heart attacks within the next few weeks. For 12 years, Sally continued to improve, and she was diagnosed with a rare condition called Fibromuscular Dysplasia (FMD) which causes narrowing and enlargement of the medium-sized arteries in the body, particularly within her brain, neck, heart, kidneys and legs. Ultimately leaving her prone to heart attacks and strokes. Unfortunately, in 2016 Sally suffered 2 more heart attacks, which amazingly, she again survived. Now, Sally’s life is testament to her positive outlook, and also to the advancements in research that have helped her recovery. She is passionate about spreading a healthy message, especially around healthy eating and wellbeing and the importance of continuing to support Heart Research UK’s pioneering research into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease.
