Fumbling a flute on Would I Lie To You, combusting over a Cork accent on BBC Radio 5 Live, scaring Diane from the Traitors with a T-shirt of her face. What (yoghurt and) banana skins await Ivo Graham next? No ball games, no blind alleys, no backstage printers this year: just one of the best stand-ups of his generation back to prove he’s not just Taskmaster’s yardstick for failure but “on this form, as funny as anyone in town.” (Times).
As seen/heard on Mock The Week, Live At The Apollo, Have I Got News For You, British As Folk, and fondue-set winner on Richard Osman’s House of Games.
About Ivo…
Apologetic Eton and Oxford alumnus Ivo Graham started stand-up in 2009 at the age of 18, and eight months and later became the youngest ever winner of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny award for new acts at the Edinburgh Fringe. He has become a regular fixture in the clubs and theatres of the UK circuit, with a gauche charm and crafty, self-aware wit which has proved a hit with audiences of all ages, and led to appearances on multiple TV and radio shows. He is a regular writer on Fighting Talk and The Last Leg as well as several others.
His four solo stand-up shows have enjoyed sell-out runs at Edinburgh and London’s Soho Theatre.
As the Evening Standard put it, ‘if you like your comedy with long words and beautiful linguistic flourishes, buy a ticket immediately’.
‘Confident, exquisitely crafted and, most importantly, satisfyingly funny’
